Memorial Scholarship:

Announcing Korey's Campers, a memorial scholarship fund honoring the inspiring life and legacy of Korey Grant, whose passion for life and learning, magnetic smile, incredible talent, and kind personality made a lasting impact on everyone around him. Diagnosed with autism at the age of 3, epilepsy at 12, and kidney failure as a young adult, Korey continually exceeded expectations and lived his life to the fullest, making the most of every single day.

Understanding the difficulty of finding affordable and reliable care and support during the summer, this memorial scholarship was created to honor the life and legacy of Korey Grant to offset the cost of sending a young adult and/or child to our summer camp program(s) this summer. Since 2013, Camps at Trusted Parents has hosted its annual all-inclusive summer camp programs for children and teens with and without disabilities, with the goal of building friendships and enhancing social and personal growth. However recently, we created a summer day program for those individuals 18 years old and older, who aged out of the traditional camp settings.  This memorial fund will allow us to offset the cost and continue our efforts of serving and supporting this special population of individuals and families.

Make a Difference!

Operating a summer camp is a very costly endeavor and we at Trusted Parents can only achieve our goal with the assistance of generous donations from individuals, corporations, and foundations willing to support our mission. Without monetary donations, we would not be able to provide financial assistance and scholarships to the many underserved families we support. Our desire is to offer scholarships and financial assistance to as many campers in need as we can, who has aged out of traditional summer camp. It is our hope and prayer to not turn a camper away because of their inability to pay. Would you consider sponsoring a child(ren) to attend our camp this summer?

What does it cost!

The total cost for a weekly session is $425 per camper, and for the full 4 weeks of summer, it will cost $1,700.  However, any amount donated will help and go towards reducing the tuition balance of a camper in need. By becoming a sponsor, you are helping a young adult with Intellectual and Developmental Delays spend their summer in a loving environment, who otherwise would not have the opportunity.
